Immediate Release Patch
The Immediate Release Patch (IRP) is the most recent model of the Transcatheter Patch. Similarly to the Transcatheter Patch, the IRP is bioabsorbable and can be used effectively for the correction of a variety of heart defects. The major improvement over the Transcatheter Patch is that the IRP can accommodate immediate release. The IRP is approved (CE mark) for heart defect correction.
For further information on the clinical and pre-clinical use of the IRP, please see our Notable Case Reports, Clinical Investigations, and Educational Resources sections.
