The ButtonSeal is a disk device with a stainless steel frame which has been in use for many years. It is made with two disks which are eventually buttoned together, occluding the defect. The device has undergone several modifications over the years; in its current form, it can be used as centering for single large defects or as non centering for many small defects (fenestrations) and for patent foramen ovale. It has less metal and Nickel than other devices. In addition, due to its simple design, we are able to produce the ButtonSeal at a lower cost than our competitors, and consequently, the cost of the intervention is decreased. We are committed to decreasing the cost of interventional solutions for a more sustainable health care system.
