Perim. VSD by Immediate Release Patch

A 4 year old patient with a large perimembranous VSD (12 mm), pulmonary hypertension and aneurysm of the ventricular Septum had occlusion of the VSD by Immediate Release Patch.

LAA Occlusion by Transcatheter Patch (ICE)

Patient with atrial fibrillation and previous stroke after ablation. Occlusion of LAA was achieved by the Transcatheter Patch. Intracardiac Echo (ICE) was used for the first time in this procedure.

Immediate Release Patch (ASD & VSD)

The transcatheter patch is a bioabsorbable device which progressively is absorbed and replaced with connective tissue while the full occlusion of the defect is maintained. Examples of an ASD and a VSD occlusion are shown.
